When someone asks an AI where to go, is your business in the answer?
The problem
More people now ask an AI assistant where to eat, who to book and who to call. Ask for the best cafe or the best massage in your suburb and you get a short list of names, not ten blue links.
Most small businesses have no idea whether they are on that list. The owner cannot see what the AI said, or why a neighbour got named and they did not.
When a business is missing, the customer never knows it exists. There is no report to check and no one to call.
What I’m building

Vaeo - see how AI recommends your business
Vaeo asks the questions real customers ask, suburb by suburb, across six AI assistants that search the web. It records which businesses get recommended, what the AI says about them, and which pages the AI read.
Then it puts the facts in one report. Answers change from run to run, so Vaeo reports how often a business appears across many answers, not one answer. It is early, and it covers all of Australia.
AI-NATIVE
I’m one person, building Vaeo with AI doing the work that used to need a team.
That isn’t a productivity story, it’s a different job. My day is research, judgement and taste - understanding the industry well enough to know what to build, deciding what’s true, and rejecting the eighty percent of what the machine offers that’s plausible and wrong. The typing was never the hard part.
It’s the same skill the novel needed. Spend enough time in someone else’s world to know how they talk, then build the thing that only makes sense once you’ve been there.
